Offering opportunities for continuing education, networking, mutual support, and counseling resources.

 


The PCCA Membership year runs from September 1 to June 30 – beginning with the 6-hour September Ethics training and followed by monthly 1.5 CEU workshops in October, November, January, February, March, April, May and June. The 1.5 CEU workshops are free for members – with no need to register for each, and the Ethics training is only $50 for members.

All trainings/workshops provide approved CEUs for all LICSWs and Associates, LMFTs and Associates, and LMHCs and Associates.

If you are not a member, and you wish to attend a single 1.5 CEU presentation, you can do so by registering for a single class ($20).

Membership Categories:

  • Professional: State-licensed Mental Health Counselors, Marriage & Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurses, or Nurse Practitioners. $75
  • Associate: Licensure Candidates, Certified Counselors/Advisers, state-qualified Chemical Dependency Counselors; or any professional who works in a mental health-related business or program. $40
  • Student/Retired: Any graduate student pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree in any mental health field or any retired mental health professional. $40
  • Group: Any employer, clinic, agency, or institution, either private or public with a minimum of three (3) providers who provide direct mental health services. Members have the same privileges as members from the other categories. $40

Volunteer Opportunities:

We have many opportunities to volunteer and we welcome your participation. We need help with setting up for our meetings or working at our refreshment table or the registration table. We have a number of committees that work on everything from developing our CEU programs to nominating our officers, improving our social media outreach, and refining our bylaws. We also encourage members to consider leadership roles in the organization, including serving on the Executive Council as an officer.
